Meet the Team

OWNER | PROJECT MANAGER
Meet Regan (Reg), one half of the driving force behind Plateau Pools and Spas. As a qualified builder and former landscaper, Reg has a distinct edge in understanding the intricacies of building and designing outdoor spaces.
Reg's passion for his work is evident in the way he talks about his business. "I love the creative input that comes with building and designing pools and landscapes," he says. "It's not just about following a plan; it's about bringing a vision to life." Reg's commitment to quality and attention to detail has earned him a reputation as an award-winning craftsman.
Reg is supported by Jacob and Tyson, who work alongside him on site, and his talented wife Anna, who keeps the office running smoothly. "You've got to have a good team behind you," Reg emphasises. "I've got a great crew, they're awesome."
Reg and his team offer a comprehensive service that takes clients from concept to completion. "We handle everything from consent to pool servicing," Reg explains. "We want to make the process as seamless as possible for our clients."
Reg's approach to design is focused around understanding the unique needs and desires of each client. "We consider everything from sunlight and shade to wind and water flow," he says. "It's about creating a space that is not only beautiful but also functional and sustainable."
When he's not building and designing amazing spaces, Reg loves to spend time with his family and pursue his passions for biking, hunting, waterskiing and camping. "I'm teaching my daughter, Mackenzie, about the outdoors," he says. "It's amazing to see her develop a love for nature." Reg's love for the outdoors is infectious.
As for the future, Reg is eager to continue breaking new ground in the industry. "I'm always looking for new ways to innovate and improve," he says, hinting at exciting developments on the horizon. With Reg at the helm, one thing is certain: Plateau Pools and Spas will continue to raise the bar for exceptional outdoor living spaces!

TEAM LEADER | POOL BUILDER | POOL TECHNICIAN
Meet Jacob, our dedicated Team Leader or talented ‘multitasker’ who brings a real passion for building exceptional pools to every project. With an extensive background in water care repair services, pool renovations, pump shed upgrades and pool servicing, along with a knack for problem-solving, Jacob has developed a deep understanding of what makes a truly stunning outdoor space.
So, what drives Jacob's passion for working for Plateau Pools and Spas? "I love working for this team because they're family-oriented. I can work around my kids' schedules, and we're a small, tight-knit team."
Jacob loves the variety that comes with building pools. "Every day is different," he says, "From plumbing to paving, and everything in between – I'm always facing a new challenge."
But what might surprise you about Jacob's role? "People often think building a pool is just about dropping in a shell and filling it up," he laughs. "But the reality is, there's so much more to it, especially with custom-built pool projects like ours. From landscaping and fencing to fibre glassing and water care, every aspect requires precision and attention to detail. It's a technical process, but one that I love, and I'm really proud of the spaces we create."
One of Jacob's favourite parts of the job is seeing how a finished pool fits in with the property. "I love how it ties in with the surrounding landscape and how the colour of the pool can complement the style of the home," he says. "It looks like it was meant to be there, like it's always been a part of the property. That's what makes it special."
In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his young family on their lifestyle property. He's also an avid dirt bike rider and enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors that our region has on offer.

OWNER | NEW POOL CONSULTANT
Having spent 15+ years in senior marketing roles, Anna took a leap of faith in 2020 to further explore her passion for lifestyle medicine, training to become a Prekure Certified Health Coach and currently training to become a Wim Hof Method Certified Instructor. Having experienced the transformative power of natural therapy in her own life, Anna is passionate about helping others discover the unparalleled health benefits of lifestyle medicine through hormetic therapy (cold immersion/ice baths and sauna), breathwork, mindset, nature, nutrition and bodywork.
Anna's role with Plateau Pools encompasses marketing, office admin, client liaison and is currently working with the team to develop custom ice baths. She is passionate about working with client's to realise the potential of their outdoor space for true wellness.
Anna is a mad-keen mountain biker and spends most of her spare time on the local trails or out on the lake skiing in summer.

POOL BUILDER | POOL TECHNICIAN
Meet Tyson, our skilled pool builder extraordinaire, with a passion for creating exceptional outdoor spaces. Tyson started with the Plateau Pools and Spas team early in 2024 after returning to New Zealand from Australia.
Tyson's all about bringing people's backyard dreams to life. "I love seeing a project come together from start to finish," he says. "It's awesome knowing the pool we're building will be where families make memories and have epic summers."
Tyson's expertise shines through on every build. "There’s more to building a pool than people realise," he notes. "We handle everything from excavation and concreting to tiling and landscaping, it takes a lot of different skills to bring these projects to life," says Tyson.
"I love the variety of work that we do," he says. "We're always learning and taking on new challenges at each site." The best part? Creating truly one-of-a-kind spaces. "It's really creative, and the finished spaces are impressive - I'm proud to have worked on them," he adds.
Tyson appreciates the family-oriented atmosphere at Plateau Pools and Spas. “Reg (the boss) is easy-going and we have a close-knit crew, it's a great place to work.”
When he's not building pools, Tyson enjoys spending time with his young family and staying active. As a coach at the gym, he appreciates the importance of hard work and dedication. "I love the energy of the gym," he says. "It's a great way to start the day, and it helps me stay energised and focused at work."
Tyson is a key part of the Plateau Pools and Spas team. He's also pretty handy with Instagram, sharing behind-the-scenes peeks at our pool builds. You might've even spotted him starring in our on-site content - a bonus role he may not have signed up for when he joined the crew!
